Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and your chosen display name (first name and last initial). Providing a phone number is optional. All information beyond what is required for access is voluntary.

Residency verification details. To confirm you live in the community, we ask you to place a pin on a map. We record the coordinates of that pin and how far it falls from the neighborhood boundary, along with the unit number you claimed at sign-up. This data is used only to determine whether you are inside the service area. Precise pin coordinates are cleared from our records after your verification is approved. We do not request or store identity documents.

Listings and photos. When you post a listing, we collect the title, description, price, condition, category, and any photos you upload. This content is visible to other verified residents of the community.

Saved listings. When you save a listing, we record which listing you saved and when. This data is visible only to you.

Email contact relay.When a buyer contacts a seller through a listing’s contact form, we send that message via email on the buyer’s behalf. The buyer’s email address is included as the reply-to address so the seller can respond directly. The seller’s email address is never exposed to the buyer through this relay.

In-app messages. The Platform also has a direct messaging system separate from the email relay. Messages sent through in-app conversations are stored in our database and are visible to both participants in that conversation. Email notifications for new in-app messages use your display name, not your email address.

App feedback. If you submit feedback through the Platform, we store the feedback text and category. This is visible to the Platform operator for review.

Listing reports. If you report a listing, we store the report reason and any details you provide, along with which listing was reported. This is visible to the Platform operator for moderation.

Technical metadata.When a contact message is sent via the email relay, we record the sender’s IP address and user agent string alongside the message for abuse prevention purposes. We may also collect basic server logs (timestamps, request paths, error codes) as part of normal infrastructure operation. Verification attempts also log the number of geofence checks made.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account and provide access to the Platform.
• Verify that you are a current resident of the community before granting access.
• Display your listings to other verified residents and facilitate connections between buyers and sellers.
• Deliver messages and transactional email notifications (such as “someone messaged you about your listing”).
• Detect and prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Respond to your support requests and inquiries.

We do not sell your information. We do not share, rent, or sell your personal data to any third party for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.

3. Service Providers & Data Storage

To operate the Platform, we rely on the following third-party service providers. These providers process your data only to the extent necessary to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

• Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage. Your account data, listings, messages, verification records, and uploaded photos are stored on Supabase infrastructure.
• Resend: transactional email delivery. Resend is used to send magic-link sign-in emails, listing-contact notifications, and other system emails on behalf of the Platform.

We do not currently use analytics services, advertising networks, or social media trackers.

We use essential cookies that keep you signed in and protect requests from tampering. These are set by our authentication and security systems, are required for the Platform to function, and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. What Other Residents Can See

Other verified residents of the community can see your display name (first name and last initial) and your listings, including listing photos and descriptions.

Your full unit number, phone number (if provided), and residency-verification details are not visible to other residents.

Email contact relay. When a buyer contacts you through a listing, their email address is shared with you as the reply-to address so you can respond. Your email address is not exposed to buyers through the relay.

In-app messaging.Messages exchanged in the Platform’s conversation system are stored in our database and visible to both participants in the conversation. Email notifications for new messages show only your display name, not your email address.

5. Retention & Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Platform. If you move out of the community, your account may be suspended. Suspended accounts are retained for up to approximately 12 months and may then be deleted.

You can export a copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion removes your profile, listings, photos, verification record, saved listings, feedback, and reports. We aim to process self-serve actions immediately. For manual access or deletion requests, email jaewonlee031@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will delete or anonymize your data unless we are required to retain it for abuse-prevention or legal reasons.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Data at rest is protected by Supabase’s infrastructure-level encryption and row-level security policies.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

210 Market is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will terminate that account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact & Data Requests

To export or delete your account data, visit Settings while signed in. That is the fastest path and is processed immediately.
